This guide will show you how to setup the game to work with Silkless Coop mod.



Server Installation

1. Download the BepInEx 5 Framework and Silkless Coop Mod
 
 
 
3. Extract the downloaded files into your root folder of your server. You can upload the files via FTP or via File Manager.

 

4. Go to the Configuration Files option in your Game Panel and click Text Editor to edit the SilklessCoop.cfg file. 

Alternatively, you can go to File Manager > BepInEx > config > SilklessCoop.cfg to edit that file.

 

5. Change IP and Port in the config to match server.

[Networking]
Mode = Server
ServerIP = <your public IP>
Port = server port
Password = mysecretPassword = mysecret


Mode = Server → runs the game as a host.

Port → choose your server port.

Password → optional, protects your server from random joins.

 

6. Start the server.




Local Game Client Installation

Every player who connects to the server must have BepInEx and the SilklessCoop mod installed in their local Silksong game folder.

 

1. Download the BepInEx 5 Framework and Silkless Coop Mod

Download BepInEx 5 (tested on 5.4.23.3) 

Download SilklessCoop.zip

 

2. Locate your Silksong installation folder (Steam: Right-click Silksong → Manage → Browse local files).

 

3. Extract the downloaded files in the root directory of your Silksong game installation. 

 

 

4. Once extracted, navigate to BepInEx > config > SilklessCoop.cfg and set:

 
[Networking] Mode = Client ServerIP = <your public IP> Port = server port Password = mysecret

 

 

 

4. Launch Silksong once.

The game should start with BepInEx (a console window may open briefly).

If installed correctly, SilklessCoop will generate configuration files in the BepInEx/config folder.
